Dedicated finance service launched for BMV property investors

Stirling Mortgage Network has recently launched a dedicated financial broker service for Below Market Value (BMV) property investors. This niche area of property investment has experienced a huge growth in popularity in recent years. Due to the specific requirements of this marketplace investors require a broker service that can deliver these requirements. Currently there are very few brokers with the requisite experience, which is why this service has been developed specifically to fill the gap.

There are 2 key points to note regarding financing for BMV property purchases. The first is that the Buy to Let mortgage market is currently unregulated by the Financial Services Authority in the UK. The second is that there are only a handful of lenders that will provide the BMV property investor with an immediate remortgage against the open market value of the property rather than a percentage of the purchase price paid.

Due to the nature of the market place and the nature of Below Market Value property purchases it is very important that the investor is working with an experienced broker. As well as extensive experience in the field of BMV purchases, the broker should have an excellent reputation and access to the full market place of lenders who can provide immediate remortgages for BMV purchases.
